Kinect has sold a million already?

Microsoft announced today that the Kinect has sold over a million units. With only ten days since the Kinect launch they have already exceeded one fifth of their goal. Their goal is to be able to sell five million Kinects before 2011 and they have already sold a million in the first ten days.

  

Mircrosoft game division head Don Mattrick broke the news and said that they were on a "strong start."

Kinect hit European shelves on November 10th and will hit shelves in Asia on November 17.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wii

I'm sure we've all heard of the new Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, but this one took me by surprise. A new Ghost Recon is being released only for the Wii and Psp. This is the first one coming out for the Wii and as expected; its not the best looking thing there is. Though it does look fun for a Wii shooter no one can really expect a shooter on the Wii to be amazing as you would on the 360 or Ps3. I haven't even heard of this title untill today and its coming out this month, November. The game is in no way connected to the next title: Future soldier, as far as I know. It seems pretty simplified so that it can work out right for the Wii and thats the problem with many Wii games in the first place. From what I've seen, it's just another "shoot 'em up" game like many of the classic arcade games that are released for the Wii already. I don't think i'll be picking this one up but if your a Wii gamer this might interest you, unfortunately for other the gamers on the 360 and Ps3, this just won't interest them especially since Black Ops just came out a while ago. In my opinion this is being released at the wrong time and won't be a big hit. BUT I haven't played it so this is all from what I've seen and I can be completely wrong about this game.

New Assassins Creed Brotherhood trailer

Heres a new trailer for Assassins Creed Brotherhood. It looks sick and you'll be seeing many of the famous Leonardo da Vinci's inventions in the game that will aid you in your battles. Theres also some familiar inventions from the last game Assassins Creed II that you will be seeing. I don't know about you but I'm going to be picking this one up because I'm a huge fan of the series and it looks like it just gets better and better especially with the new addition of multiplayer. Assassins Creed Brotherhood comes out November 16, only 4 days from now.

Runes Of Magic Review

Runes Of Magic (RoM) is a free to play MMORPG made by Frogster. I've been playing RoM for a while now and I have to say its definitely one of the best F2P MMORPG's I've gone through, and I've been through alot. One of the many things I like is the dual class system, this allows you to level to 10 and then you can pick another class as your "secondary class." So you can be a Knight shooting fireballs, but the only flaw is that a few classes use mana and share the same "mana pool" resulting is quick draining of your mana. The graphics are pretty decent but I could care less in this case because the game is very fun and you can play for hours without noticing the time passing. One of the flaws that I have the most problems with is the constant ganking by higher leveled players. By level 15 your the freshmeat and prey to the highest level player there is and that can get very annoying. There is no way to get a mount without paying real money so getting ganked can be very stressful when you spawn far away from you previous spot. Over all RoM will be one of the best free MMO's you come across and you can check it out here on their site.

New Call of Duty FPS?

With Black Ops being released on November 9, 2010, Activison has confirmed that of course another Call of Duty FPS will be coming late 2011.With no other information besides its obviously going to be a FPS, its going to probably be a third Modern Warfare installment to the series (what else would it be?).

 

With no more information yet on the new CoD game, I will try to get more and post it here.

9000 BC

9000 BC is a tower defense type game. So far I've been playing only the free version but it's a great game and its very addictive. 9000 BC's art style is very unique and colorful. The game looks like it's a cave painting with simple and ancient looking beasts and monsters. You play as what looks like, well, someone from 9000 BC! Wearing nothing but a orange loin cloth as far as I can see. Enemies come from the right of the screen and you have to use spears to take them down, but thats not all. As you kill enemies you get shells which you can spend on health, monstrous allies, and even elements given to you by the gods for help. You can feed the dead to a volcano and when its full you can press down on it have it spew lava to destroy your enemies or make a cloud shoot lighting randomly on to the field. There are a lot more powers but being that I have only the free demo I don't know much about the rest. 9000 BC is available on the iTouch/iPhone and I recommend you try out the free version and see if you want to pay for the full version.
